HOLT VINYL VAULT

The first time I visited Holt Vinyl Vault in the quaintly hardcore Norfolk town of Holt, all Georgian glory and timewarp grocers, sat a Post Office so common, yet so curious. No stage managed concoction of a concept store, but a reality within a small town that largely relied on seasonal business to stay afloat. A fully functioning official Royal Mail Post Office, coalesing with a second hand record shop. In isolation, both were familiar places, but I had never encounter them brought together as one amalgamation.

It now functions solely as a record shop, and many of the old GPO fixtures and fittings have now gone, making way for more vinyl and music ephemera.
